Hey Guys. What have you been up to? Well, I've only made two cards since my last post. Can you believe it? What's even more, I haven't "bought" any new stamps in quite a while. Shocking I know! I hope my "mojo" hasn't left me completely. LOL! What I have been doing, in between work, errands, being with the kiddies and hubby, etc., is doing a lot of reading. I've never been much of a reader, but ever since the "Twilight" series, I'm on a roll. I'm reading another "Vampire" series that I highly recommend. It's called the "Betsy Taylor" series. There are 8 books in the series starting with the first one, "Undead and Unwed" by Mary Janice Davidson. Soooo funny! It's like "Twilight" meets "Confessions of a Shopaholic". It's very lighthearted and a quick read. I'm really enjoying the books...What are you reading?...
Now on to my card: I whipped this one up today and I am sooo proud of myself. I really like how this card turned out. I was inspired by a card layout on Tracy's blog, www.eatsleepstamp.typepad.com. (Hi, Tracy!) and by this cute patterned paper that I found at Target's dollar bins. It screams "Summer" to me, perfect for the weather we're having in the Bay Area right now...Enjoy the rest of your day!
Card Deets: Die cut image and patterned paper from Target's dollar bins; mitten image and sentiment from A Muse; yellow and red notecards and red checked patterned paper by A Muse; Memento brown inkpad; SU marker; square punches by SU and Marvy; yellow brads and vellum vegetables from stash.
This card is loaded with summmer FUN - great job Kim! Great combination of elements!
